I received a degree on Electrical Engineering from Federal University of Parana (UFPR) in 1989. I received a Ph.D. degree in Informatics and Automation from Université de Franche-Comté (UFC) in 1994. I worked as a developing engineering on electrical power systems protection. I’ve co-founded a start-up on workflow software development. I joined PUCPR in 1995, and became a full-professor in 1999. I’ve been teaching on several domains, such as programing, web-development, electronic and electrical circuits, statistics, databases, operating systems, distributed systems, computer networks and system security. My current research is on applied computer networks.
